A Hong Kong court has sentenced pro-democracy activist Joshua Wong to ten years in prison for conspiring to collude with foreign forces, his second conviction under the territory's national security law. The thirty-year-old had pleaded guilty in September to lobbying foreign governments to impose sanctions on China and Hong Kong during the 2019 anti-government protests. Human rights groups have condemned the sentence, with Human Rights Watch calling it cruel and unjust and demanding Wong's immediate release. Laura Westbrook reports from Hong Kong.
