Namibia chairs the Security Council at the AU

Namibia became a member of the African Union Peace and Security Council on the 1st of April this year. The chairmanship of the council is on a rotational basis, as every member of the council will have an opportunity to chair the council. November is Namibia’s turn. The Executive Director in the Namibian Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation Penda Naanda, explained to In the Newsroom what this month has in store for Namibia as the chair.
