Darren Maule's Quick Quiz is one of KZN's favourite games and competition. Every morning on the show, one ECR listener gets to play for a chance to win cash. There's one thousand rands to be won every day and if no one wins, a thousand rand is added to the cash prize the following morning. A very cheerful and confident Heather got to play one morning in 2020 and that confidence led her to win R1, 000. That is the moment she was brought to tears, explaining to the team that she has been having a really tough time financially, as she is a cancer survivor and her medication is costly.
