African Human rights protests getting attention on Social Media

The Breakfast Team looked at this new wave of protesting that has been sweeping through the continent in the past decade and has been heightened recently though hashtag driven protests that have been getting the attention of the world.

Hashtags like #ZimbabweanLivesMatter, #EndSARSNow, #CongoIsBleeding and #ShutItAllDown have dominated social media and have forced governments to come face to face with the rage of citizens over issues of Human Rights violations.
