Durban Hospice For Women #WomenUnlocked

As you would have heard throughout the shows this week KZN- We as a station are focusing on some incredible women who are doing amazing things in different fields. One of those women we identified as a team is the ‘Durban Women’s Hospice’. This organization KZN is a place of hope, healing, and new beginnings for and by women. The organization provides a safe haven for abused and destitute women. No one is ever turned away.

As much as we celebrate women’s day- we must never forget the plight of what we as women go through every day. This world is not kind to us.

So Stacey and JSbu got word from the team at the Durban Women’ Hospice that they may be in need of a few essentials none more so then shoes- especially as most of the women that walk through their doors walk in barefoot. We were able to organize over 150 pairs of shoes for them from Bata.

Listen to the podcast to hear Zelma Lewis's reaction.
