Medical aids could apply for exemptions that would allow them to give financially-stressed members a break during Covid-19. With such an exemption, schemes could allow members to use their medical savings to pay contributions, or defer their payments without losing coverage. We had a chat with Mmtsie Mpshane who is the Manager Education&Training at the Council of Medical Schemes. If you are a member of a medical scheme, you want to hear this...
