Rodney Trudgeon’s guest on this week’s edition of People of Note is the newly appointed Director of the UCT Opera School, Jeremy Silver. Jeremy will also be conducting the Bellini opera I Capuletti A E Montecci for the opera school and Cape Town Opera which opens on 15th May.

Jeremy studied languages and music at Clare College Cambridge and conducting at the Royal Collge of Music in London and has extensive experience as an opera conductor. He has also appeared regularly in South Africa.
