The Vhembe District Municipality has been marred by concerns about poor service delivery in various health care facilities, its relationship with VBS Mutual Bank as well as protests by angry communities across all four municipalities, with residents in areas such as Duthuni Tshiawelo, Njakanjaka, Musina, Vuwani and Nzhelele barricading roads demanding water, electricity and roads.
