Massive waves long the Durban promenade set panic as sudden cyclonic conditions hit the city, and we got ahold of the man who captured it all on his camera! A typically warm and sunny day at the Durban beach front quickly turned into panic and chaos as massive waves took over the promenade. It's believed that the harsh weather is a result of Cyclone Enawo - which battered the coast of Madagascar this week, causing devastation there - and has since affected the weather system in Durban. The news quickly spread on social with people uploading videos and pictures of the massive waves and rubble left behind on social media. Facebook user, Craig Dove uploaded a video that has gone viral - with more than 14,768 shares and 384 000 views!
