Wet weekend expected for most of central SA

Most areas in central South Africa can expect a wet weekend going into next week. Parts of the Free State and North West have experienced good rainfall since last Sunday. The South African Weather Service's Tumi Phatudi says isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers are predicted for today in the Free State, with isolated showers expected in the eastern part of the Northern Cape tomorrow. The extreme north-eastern part of the Free State and the extreme eastern part of North West can expect isolated showers on Friday. Phatudi says heavy rainfall is expected on Sunday.
