Pedestrian killed in Bethlehem

A man was killed in the early hours of this morning after he was hit by a vehicle in Bethlehem in the Free State.
Emergency Medical Services spokesperson, Sipho Towa, says when paramedics arrived on the scene they found that the man had already succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the vehicle called paramedics and police. The driver sustained no injuries. Free State police spokesperson, Zweli Mohobeleli, says the cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities will investigate.
