Scores of learners who failed to secure their matric certificates the first time around, are expected at a briefing session for registration for the Second Chance Matric Support Programme.

The programme, an initiative of the National Department of Basic Education, affords young and old an opportunity to rewrite their matric exams.

Director of the programme, Zarene Govender, says the information session is set to take place at the Twin City Mall in Heidedal today.
