A security officer who allegedly guarded the National Prosecuting Authority’s offices in Durban has been arrested after reportedly being linked through DNA evidence to a series of rapes committed between 2014 and 2025.
The suspect allegedly targeted women in and around Durban and Pietermaritzburg, including allegedly following women home from taverns and breaking into the homes of women living alone. He is reportedly facing 15 counts of rape.
