Today, we are joined by Nomasonto Ida Zitha, the Founder
and Director of Xilembeni Projects, an initiative established in
September 2013 that focuses on supporting young people who
are coming out of rehabilitation programmes.
Through Xilembeni Projects, young people are exposed to
skills development programmes such as welding, electrical
work, computer skills and other practical training. The
organisation also supports them as they recover and works
towards helping them find employment and become
independent.
