IN CONVERSATION WITH ATK MUSIQ

There are some groups that don't just make music — they become part of a particular moment in music history. And if you've followed Amapiano, particularly the evolution of that deeper, soulful, Private School Piano sound, then the name ATK MusiQ should immediately mean something to you.

Born out of Diepkloof, Soweto, Amu Classic, Thuske SA and Kappie came together at a time when the sound they were creating wasn't necessarily what everybody believed would work.

After years apart, ATK MusiQ is back. And they're not coming back quietly. They've announced The Return, a massive 35-track comeback album that marks a full-circle moment for the group.
