Artificial intelligence is becoming increasingly powerful, but that power is raising new concerns about what happens when AI models go beyond the boundaries they're supposed to follow. This comes after some AI systems reportedly hacked into systems it wasn't supposed to. Brian McQuinn, an associate professor at the University of Regina and co-director of the Centre for Artificial Intelligence, Data and Conflict, joins Evan to discuss what happened there and his thoughts on whether AI should be made open-source, with China pushing for a more open approach.
