Expelled uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party member Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla said she holds no resentment towards her father, Jacob Zuma.
Zuma-Sambudla and the party’s former spokesperson, Nhlamulo Ndlela, were expelled last week over allegations of gross misconduct.
The MK Party claims the pair participated in activities that were not authorised by its national leadership.
Speaking at a media briefing in Sandton on Sunday, they announced that they want to take their expulsion to court.
Zuma-Sambudla and Ndlela said they were never subjected to a disciplinary hearing before being expelled from the MK Party.
They argue that this renders their expulsion unlawful and are calling for the decision to be reviewed internally, or they’ll be left with no choice but to head to court.
