Bafana Bafana secured the historic victory in Monterrey, Mexico.

This is the first time South Africa has competed in the FIFA World Cup since hosting the tournament in 2010. Now, for the first time ever, the national team has advanced to the next round of the tournament.

The energy was tangible on Thursday morning, with South Africans across the country beaming with pride.
