North Coast Beaches: Small Actions, Real Impact

Loading player...
Started by passionate eco warrior Mike Gahagan, North Coast Beaches is a local non-profit bringing volunteers together at the end of every month to help clean and protect our coastline.

What started as a community clean-up effort has grown into a movement of good humans showing up for the coast, including local families, residents and school pupils earning LO hours.

This week Mike and volunteer Sam Basson joined us in studio to talk about the work happening behind the scenes, the state of our beaches, and why community action still matters.

Find North Coast Beaches on Facebook and Instagram. If you’ve been meaning to do something good for the coast, this is your open invitation.

🎙️ Listen to the full interview below.

The Ripple airs every Monday on 88FM with Mike and Penny, sharing stories of people making a difference on the North Coast.
