Research says that a majority of employees LIE to their employer about the reason they want to take a day off. Infact a study on the Huffington Post shows around 40% of employees have faked illness to take time off. Common, dishonest reasons include needing a mental health break, poor planning, or wanting to avoid work. Mpho Mashita and Jones Netshipise talk to Leadership Expert, Dr Mpume Mkhize about some of the reasons people lie about why they need a day off.
