Missions did not begin with the Great Commission — it began with the promise of God in Genesis. In this first session of Fantastic Friday focused on missions with Rocky Stevenson pastor of Benoni Bible Church, we trace God’s global purpose back to His covenant with Abram in Genesis 12:1–3 and see how the gospel was proclaimed beforehand through that promise (Galatians 3:8).
From the fall of mankind to God’s gracious call of Abram, Scripture reveals a missionary God who blesses His people so that His salvation reaches every family of the earth. This episode walks through the unfolding storyline of the Bible — from the Psalms and the Prophets to Christ, the church, and eternity — showing that God has always been gathering a redeemed people from every nation for His glory.
