Breaking Limiting Beliefs: Ledisa Academy's Kingdom Coaching

On JustGospel's Joyful Journey Home with Carlett, Lizelda Kotzee shared how Ledisa Life Coach Academy equips Christians with biblical tools to bridge the gap between hearing God's Word and doing it.
From Ministry to Coaching
"My husband Andre and I had a church in Hartbeespoort Dam for 14 years. We handed it over in 2018. But I still had a void to help people—shepherd's heart. I wanted to work for God because Kingdom is our heart." She found Ledisa online, and in 2022 became a qualified dynamic life coach and biblical transformation life coach. Last year: facilitator.
Dr. Leon Pienaar founded Ledisa in 2011 with BTH and BD degrees cum laude, doctorate in pastoral counseling, and master life coach qualification. Today Ledisa offers SAQA-accredited theological training. "His heart: developing leaders, empowering people, creating lasting transformation."
The Soul Dimension Gap
"We're spirit, soul, and body. In the spiritual, we've got the Bible and preachers. But the soul dimension needs equipping—tools, skills, wisdom to live life. People hear the Word Sunday, then don't know what to do. That's what Ledisa helps."
What is Coaching?
"'Coach' in the 1500s described a horse-drawn vehicle carrying people from one place to another. Same purpose—get people from where they are to where they want to go. Coaching helps people get revelation themselves through practical worksheets. It hits the heart. We're hearers but don't hear. Coaching is not just hearing but doing."
Her Limiting Belief Story
At 18, Lizelda desperately wanted to be a pastor. "I opened the Bible to James 3:1—'don't be too many leaders.' I thought God said no. I made a vow."
Years later, married to Andre, starting their church, she never spoke publicly. One day Andre said: "You must preach." Only 10-12 people attended. "An old uncle came afterward: 'So what did you actually say?' There's confirmation I can't preach—a double inner vow."
The Breakthrough
At Ledisa webinar, Dr. Leon asked: "What's hindering you?" She shared both stories. "He said: you're more mature than grade 12 you. Today when doing Bible study, do you just randomly open the Bible? I said no, I study properly. He said: why are you still acting on Bible study that wasn't productive? That's presumption."
About the uncle: "Did he have theological background? No. So how is he qualified to tell you?" Both limiting beliefs broke. "Ever since, I started preaching. Now I'm here on Just Gospel internationally."
Only 2% Change
"Statistics say only 1.73% of people change. Change is the most searched topic online. That 2% wants to change and does. The 98%? They want to but can't. They don't have tools. That's what we teach."
Three Courses
Dynamic Life Coaching (R10,950 payment plan; R9,950 once-off): "More secular but Christian principles in background. We're 007 double agents—we put Christ in there. Goal-setting step by step. You can start your own business, help businesses improve."
Biblical Transformation Life Coaching (same pricing): "All biblical. My favorite module: identity in Christ. Born-again Christians know they're saved but don't grasp how to bring Christ's identity. We work through 12-week practicals identifying false identities, crisis points, showing what the Bible says about old versus new person."
"I've coached couples who were born again but never said it aloud. They couldn't pray—only cultural Christians. That's why the church struggles."
Faith-Based Marriage Coaching (R6,650-R7,000): Launching first week of March.
All courses internationally accredited, registered with Board of Coaches and Comensa.
Kingdom Business Principle
"Matthew 6:10—let Your Kingdom come on earth as in heaven. If you render a service for the secular world and they pay, but the church says 'do it for the Lord, it needs to be free'—that's wrong. Pay fair wages. Take world money for Kingdom. In the world, you'd pay 30-50,000 at university. This is investment."
