The tragic news of the death of Warrick Stock spread through the nation on Tuesday, 16 December 2025.

The 40-year-old media personality, known as DJ Warras, died Tuesday afternoon near Johannesburg's Carlton Centre. Police say he was armed but couldn't fire back as a gunman hit him four times in the chest and once in the chin; nothing was stolen from him.
