Jonathan Frank and Shan Stout sit down with Barbara Reynolds, former dean of the Whitson-Hester School of Nursing at Tennessee Tech. With a background in mental health nursing, she shares what drew her into the field and the passion that fueled her career. Reynolds reflects on her time at Tech from 1991 to 1998, as well as her experiences as a nurse during the height of the polio era and how it shaped the medical world. Now 95, she continues to volunteer, advocate for rural healthcare access, and educate the public—proving her dedication is as strong as ever.
