Filtane is  one of just five South African women chosen for the 2024 Tech Woman Program by the US State Department, representing KZN on a global stage. While she started in IT, she pivoted into the timber industry after a significant life loss. She began her journey for her husband, but has grown stronger and stronger in coming into her own.
