Meet Anderson Carvalho from Dance & Choreography (ACDC) is an independent, emerging and creation-based contemporary dance foundation from the Netherlands, founded by the Brazilian-Dutch choreographer Anderson Carvalho. The foundation is dedicated to artistic creation, research, socio-artistic empowerment, collaboration, innovation and cultural understanding internationally through dance. Their aim is to offer unique experiences in dance that inspire an open and safe space for co-creation, questioning and dialogue.

Carvalho began his studies in dance at a social dance project situated in the Favelas (townships) of Fortaleza, Brazil. He furthered his studies for two years at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. He holds a Master degree in Arts, Choreography, a joint-degree by Codarts University of Arts and Fontys University in the Netherlands.
