Today’s bird call is the Cape White-eye. They are delightful little birds in their green-and-yellow plumage, off-set by the distinctive white ring, which is small feathers, around the eye, from which it gets its name. The Cape White-eye song is generally rambling and can go on for quite some time, and surprising loud for a small bird.
