Frans Steyn - Michael Annies injury

The Toyota Cheetahs may be forced to throw the exciting winger Ntokozo Makhaza into the deep end when they face the Suzuki Griquas on Friday in Bultfontein.
The fleet-footed Michael Annies is out with a Lisfranc fracture in his foot, which means he’ll miss the start of the Currie Cup.
Makhaza, who was recently with the Springboks, arrived in Bloemfontein on Saturday along with loose forward and former Junior Springbok captain, Sasko Ndlovu.
Coach Frans Steyn told OFM Sport that while Annies’ injury is a setback, they’re glad to now have Makhaza in the squad.
