The Minister of Social Development, Ms. Nokuzola Sisisi Tolashe, has issued a public call for these nominations, inviting qualified individuals to aid in South Africa's fight against substance abuse. The CDA is an essential advisory body to the Minister and the government, instrumental in shaping national drug policy and implementing the National Drug Master Plan, which coordinates strategies for prevention, treatment, reintegration, and harm reduction concerning substance use and abuse.
