IN CONVERSATION WITH LERATO HUMAN TRAFFICKING SURVIVOR

Lerato was trafficked as a child and sold multiple times within a dangerous Nigerian trafficking syndicate. Despite enduring unspeakable abuse, she found the courage to stand up and testify against her traffickers, helping bring them to justice. Her bravery has not only aided in dismantling parts of the syndicate but also inspired hope for other survivors. Today, she is using her voice to raise awareness about the hidden realities of trafficking
and to advocate for the protection of vulnerable individuals across the continent.
