What produces real faith?

What produces real faith in the heart? Mary sees a number of things on this Sunday morning that many would count as evidence, but they do not persuade her. Instead, faith rises up in Mary's heart because of a very particular event that is still true for all of us. Two things did not produce faith in her; one did.
