It is 1000 days since the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine and senior Republican on the Armed Forces Committee in the US Senate, Roger Wicker, has welcomed the decision by President Biden to allow Ukraine to use long-range missiles against Russia, but argues that it should have come sooner.
