The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), in collaboration with the Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil, has significantly advanced food and nutrition security in Namibia through its Integrated Food Systems Projects.
Stampriet Combined School in the Hardap Region, one of the 29 schools benefiting from the innovative Home-Grown School Feeding Programme (HGSFP), exemplifies this progress.
The HGSFP, a joint initiative with the Ministry of Education, Arts, and Culture, supports over 12,000 students across seven regions by enhancing school meals with nutritious local produce.
