#FirstThingsFirst - Sun City raid just a PR stunt?

Correctional Services officials have seized several contraband and unwanted items at the Johannesburg Prison, commonly known as Sun City. Prison wardens accompanied by members of the South African Police Services conducted a raid at the prison on Wednesday night. Cell phones, Wi-Fi routers, PlayStation consoles and dagga are some of the things that were seized. The team highlighted the important of these raids, but questioned, “are they done for the right reasons or to prove something? Are they effective and sustainable? And are they helping to rebuild trust with correctional services or police?”
