Gayton McKenzie has come out guns blazing on social media after a week as Arts, Culture & Sports Minister, saying he will pull the plug on superfan funding and publish a list of creative recipients of department funding. Late last night, a statement was subsequently released, zooming in on the apparent support artist Makhadzi received from the department in the recent past. An impassioned Mpho Maboi believes Makhadzi is being victimised, and so will many others on the list to be published later today.
