Confession: “I gifted my friend baby items and then spotted them on Facebook Marketplace”

In a generous gesture, a woman known only as Jessica treated her friend to a few baby items after learning of her pregnancy. She offered an array of items and her friend gracefully accepted. However, Jessica saw that the items were listed for sale on Facebook Marketplace a few weeks later. Shocked and taken aback, she confronted her friend who defended her actions. The friend stated that once the items were handed over, they were now hers and she had every right to do with them as she pleased. The woman felt used, adding that it seemed as though her generosity was taken advantage of. She does not feel like it’s something friends should do.
