Schools have returned to summer sport for the final term of the year. This means that cricket teams have taken to pitches across the country. South Africa continues to produce incredible young cricketing talent. Kwena Maphaka is one of SA's most promising young stars. The youngest player ever in the SA U19 team, he's been to an U19 World Cup, played for SA Emerging and SA "A", and has been contracted to the Paarl Royals for the 2024 SA20 season.

Alex caught up with Kwena at his school, St Stithians in Johannesburg, to find out how he has made it so far in cricket while still at school. Kwena discusses his discipline, plans for after school, and how he is hoping to juggle academics and cricket for matric next year.

Finally, Kwena also has a go at a special, cricket themed quiz!
