Kimberley hosts renowned South African artist Peter E Clarke

Chief Curator at the William Humphreys Art Gallery in Kimberley, Chepape Makgato joins Mid-Morning Magic’s Yolanda Maartens in the OFM Art Beat to talk about their current exhibition featuring the works of Peter E Clarke.
The William Humphreys Art Gallery (WHAG) is proud to present a solo exhibition of the renowned South African artist, writer and poet Peter E. Clarke (1929-2014), from the 29th of August to 31st of October 2023.

The exhibition, titled For Some the Pathway to Education Lies Between Thorns, showcases Clarke’s linocut and woodcut prints, rarest paintings and watercolour drawings that explore the themes of education, space and social justice.
