Three Women Driving Social Change Across South Africa
--:--
Three incredible social justice activists are making a positive impact on their communities in South Africa. Sharon, who lives in Limpopo, has created a program to help combat the serious issue of unemployment among young people. She achieves this by helping them secure learnerships and internships, as well as developing their skills, which in turn benefits all nearby villages in Mokgotho.
Me Dikeledi, based in Ficksburg in Free State, has started an initiative to provide nourishment and hope to those in need. She cooks for those who are less fortunate, offering a helping hand to fight against poverty and hunger.
Meanwhile, Monica, from Bergville in KwaZulu-Natal, has discovered the power of dialogue, skill enhancement, and community engagement. Her efforts are focused on standing up against gender-based violence, social challenges, and poverty. These amazing women show us that community-driven action is the key to making a difference, and that change begins with compassion and commitment.
