The Congress of the People’s Murenwa Makwarela insists he is still the mayor of Tshwane, despite a move by the city manager to disqualify him as a PR councillor. City Press on Sunday reported that Makwarela was sequestrated in 2016 and a court order for outstanding debts was issued against him in 2019.
