Childline has embarked on a campaign dubbed Peace is Calling. The campaign is aimed at sparking collective engagements about structural reforms required to achieve a peaceful society where children are protected from violence and given a chance to succeed.
The campaign is being rolled out in seven communities across the Gauteng province where violence against children and child abuse is rife. The seven targeted communities are Johannesburg, Soweto, Sebokeng, Orange Farm, Katorus, Tembisa and Diepsloot.
