In response to the staggering unemployment rate of 34%, with over 70% being youth and ofcos Black women being the most vulnerable with 41%.

GirlCode, a social enterprise aimed at empowering girls and women through technology has partnered with one of the largest technology investors in the world to provide 300 unemployed graduates an opportunity to take their coding skills to the next level through a 3-month bootcamp. The project aims to train and support 300 unemployed graduates in different fields of Information Technology through training and getting them Internationally certified with guaranteed job placements at the end of the program ALL FOR FREE. The team is joined by GirlCode co-founder and CFO Tinyiko Simbine to tell us more.
