‘Pitso Is Playing Mind Games With Chiefs’

With the CAF Champions League coming to a close, all eyes will be watching Kaizer Chiefs as they appear in their first-ever Champions League final, during a season that has been an emotional rollercoaster for fans. Football matches don’t get bigger than this, Chiefs vs Al Ahly, Chiefs vs Pitso, who will prevail as Champions of Africa? Speaking on the SL Podcast’s ‘The Carwash’ former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns star Teko Modise states that “This match, is David vs Goliath.” With Al Ahly being the favorites, a true underdog story can be made from Chiefs’ season if they can just add the cherry on top; only 90 minutes separate these two teams from continental victory.

With Pitso ‘Jingles’ Mosimane having coached in South Africa, more specifically Sundowns, he will be well aware of the dangers that Kaizer Chiefs pose, and with the starting line-up Al Ahly have announced, the awareness of those dangers is prominent. “He knows how to trigger Nurkovic,” says Teko Modise during the conversation and analysis of the CAF Champions League Final.
